Alex Westby

Alex was born and raised in Maple Ridge and grew up playing hockey and training regularly. In that time, he experienced many musculoskeletal injuries due to overtraining and it wasn’t until he began seeing his RMT that he was able to move past his injuries and continue his training without pain.

Alex saw what his RMT and the rest of his healthcare team were able to do for him and decided in 2018 he wanted to devote his future to providing the same standard of care given to him by his team for his patients going forward. With that same goal still strong in mind, Alex graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2020, completing a 2 year practicum in a student clinic as well as at multiple outreaches including: UBC Varsity Athletics, The Last Door Recovery Center, and George Pearson long-term care centre.

Alex strongly believes that establishing a positive treatment environment is crucial towards success and is extremely dedicated to helping each and every patient reach their wellness goals and restore a pain free quality of life.

In his spare time, Alex is a huge hockey fan and is an avid hiker, taking any chance to catch a highlight or escape into the wilderness for a while.
