Medical Services Plan and Extended Health Benefits
DIRECT billing services available! We save you the hassle!
Why direct billing?
Our clinic can save you the hassle of submitting your own claim by directly billing your insurance company. This means we spare you from the financial burden of having to pay for the visit and wait for reimbursement.
What if my insurance company is not listed?
If your insurance company does not support direct billing, we will provide you with a receipt after payment. You may then submit that to your insurance company.
Not sure if you are covered for our services?
If you are not sure what services are covered in your policy you can:
Read through your benefits booklet to check your coverage
Log in to your insurance company's website to check your coverage
Call your insurance company to check your coverage
Information you should get from your insurance company:
Is the therapy covered?
How much coverage do you have per year (dollar amount)?
What percentage of the fee is covered by the insurance company?
If you have any problems, we are more than happy to assist you with finding out if you have coverage.

Medical Services Plan (MSP)
The provincial government offers partial coverage for a range of services to qualified individuals. For qualuified MSP beneficiaries, MSP contributes $23 per visit for a combined annual limit of 10 visits each calendar year for the following services: chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, naturopathy, physical therapy and non-surgical podiatry. This means that we bill the government directly for the $23 that they cover, and bill the remaining portion to you.
Who can qualify for supplementary coverage?
Those who may be eligible for MSP coverage of these supplementary benefit services include:
MSP Premium Assistance Recipients
Income Assistance recipients
Inmates of B.C. Correctional Facilities
Individuals enroled with MSP through the At Home Program
Residents of long term care facilities receiving the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS)
Individuals enroled with MSP as Mental Health Clients
First Nations individuals with valid B.C. Medical Plan coverage through the First Nations Health Authority.
MSP Premium Assistance
MSP Premium assistance is available to those individuals (or couple’s combined) whose “net adjusted annual income” is $22,000 or less.
Still not sure if you qualify?
Contact our clinic and we will be able to let you know if you qualify for supplementary coverage. All we need is your BC Care Card number (PHN), name, and date of birth.
