Dr. Amanda Huang
Dr. Amanda holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree (Magna Cum Laude)
from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and also holds an Honours
Bachelor of Science Degree from McMaster University.
Treating primarily perinatal and infant patients, Dr. Amanda strives to
support and empower her pregnant patients as they prepare for birth and
navigate postpartum healing. Dr. Amanda also has a special interest in
cesarean scar recovery.
With infants, Dr. Amanda focuses on helping little ones feel comfortable in their bodies by addressing general discomfort and tension, latch and feeding mechanics/oral function, head shape concerns (ie. plagiocephaly), torticollis, and milestone delay and mastery.
Dr. Amanda believes in an evidence-informed approach and is an advocate
of multidisciplinary and collaborative care. She often co-manages her
patients with RMTs, pelvic floor PTs, pediatric PTs, pediatric dentists,
lactation consultants, doulas, and counsellors within the community.
In her spare time, Dr. Amanda enjoys travelling, snowboarding, climbing,
paddle boarding, yoga and spending time with friends and family.
