Dr. Everett Gerretsen
Dr. Everett grew up in Maple Ridge British Columbia. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto Ontario.
Dr. Everett was very involved in the rugby community until he suffered a low back injury which prevented him from playing at a competitive level. Through chiropractic care and rehabilitation, he has recovered and is extremely passionate about bringing the same to others.
After experiencing some bizarre, non-functional, and almost useless exercise prescription during the rehabilitation of his low back injury, Dr. Everett was determined to find something that would not only help him become fully functional again, but also help his future patients. Dr. Everett heavily focuses on and incorporates functional movement assessments and rehabilitation into each treatment. Although he enjoys seeing his patients, Dr. Everett empowers his patients by teaching them how to increase stability and mobility of the body, leading to prevention of future injuries. He truly believes that a patient will achieve optimal function if they meet him half way and work together as a team in order to reach their goals.
During his spare time, Dr. Everett likes reading, hiking, gaming, and spending time with his family and friends.
