Dr. Mark Demers
Dr. Mark Demers grew up in Windsor, Ontario. From a young age, Dr. Mark understood the importance of exercising both your body and your mind. He played competitive basketball up until university where he was a dedicated 3-point specialist. He also was a competitive chess player, playing at a provincial level throughout his schooling. Dr. Mark’s journey to becoming a chiropractor was a natural one, as it combines his love of physical activity with his passion of problem solving to help each patient understand their own body and how to both eliminate pain as well as improve performance.
Dr. Mark has a special interest in geriatric care, as well as management of post-concussive disorders and vestibular conditions. He is a certified instructor of the GLA:D Canada program, aimed at helping those with hip and knee osteoarthritis return to normal function. He has experience working with elite level athletes looking to improve their performance as well as post-surgical patients looking to regain lost mobility.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mark continues to find ways to exercise both his body and his mind. He enjoys weight training and biking as well as strategy games and debates.
