Robyn Frizzle

Robyn has worked in everything from finance to fitness before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist. She felt that it encompassed all the best parts of all of her previous jobs and put them into one career that she loves. It took a little while, but she finally realized what she wanted to be when she grew up!

Robyn knew she was on the right path when she first took the Introduction to Massage class at West Coast College of Massage. She subsequently began the training program and hasn't looked back since. She completed 2 years of practicum at the WCCMT student clinic as well as participating in sports massage outreaches at UBC and BMO Marathon, worked with patients with special needs at Burnaby Association of Community Inclusion, and helped to manage chronic illness and pain in the school’s in-reach programs for Multiple Sclerosis and patients with chronic or systemic illnesses.

Since graduating, she has started working as a Teaching Assistant at the Introduction to Massage course at West Coast College of Massage. She enjoys helping other people learn new skills and discover that they also have a passion for helping people.

In her spare time, Robyn enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and adventuring with her chocolate lab, or curling up with a good book at home afterwards.
